Post-baby Hair


So everyone knows postpartum hair loss is a thing. It’s inevitable and it absolutely sucks. The beautiful and luscious hair you get when you were pregnant, well it was for lease only.

After filling our bathroom floor with my hair from my first baby, I decided to do some research to try and help reduce the chances or damage from postpartum hair loss. Now at 4 months postpartum with my second baby, I’m battling the hair loss but I’m so glad I found these products and so I’m sharing it with other mommies out there.

First things first, I have super thin “Barbie” black hair. It was thinning around the frame of my face and whenever I’d tie my hair up, you could see my scalp… it was THAT bad.

Here are my tips:

  1. Wash your hair every other day (or every 3 days) – really let your hair sit in your natural oil. It sounds nasty but it does your hair wonders.
  2. Use an argan oil base and regrowth shampoo.  Here’s the one I use and it works great!
  3. Use a leave-in oil conditioner. I use argan oil religiously.
  4. Take Hair, Skin, Nails supplements.
